Worship Schedule

In his conversation with the woman at the well, Jesus said that God seeks true worshipers who worship in spirit and truth because God is spirit and truth. The truth is that God is worthy to receive our worship and praise. God created us so that our entire being is fashioned as an instrument of praise. Just as a master violin maker designs an instrument to produce maximum aesthetic results, so God tailor-made our bodies, souls and spirits to work together in harmony to produce pleasing expressions of praise and worship.

While worship is first and foremost for God’s pleasure, worshiping changes us and renews us so that we become like the One we worship. When we worship in spirit and truth, what begins as holy expectancy ends in holy obedience that saves our worship from becoming an escape from the pressing needs of modern life. These are the truths that express our vision for the worship life of Grace Church. The pastors and musicians, the greeters and the ushers, the lay worship leaders and readers, the worship ministry team, communion stewards and acolytes all seek to prepare and provide experiences that draw us together in worship that exalts God, renews us in God’s image, and motivates us to holy obedience and service in God’s world.
